  Send your child here with extreme caution. I attended Alpha when I was in second grade, and it was far from being a Christian center. The staff use to hit the kids and one staff member gave a little girl a bloody lip. Asked my mother years later if permission was given to physically abuse children: answer was NO! Mind you this was in the mid 80's; however, I would still proceed with caution. This place left psychological scars on me. One staff member smacked my hand so hard that it left a bruise. My mom just thought another child smacked me. NO, it was a staff member. I would never send my child here. Shame on them for letting this happen.
